Purposes:

The purpose of Responsible Gaming Policy of MyCashGames is to prevent problem gambling and reduce a number of compulsive gamblers. We want our guests to have a good time and wager responsibly with the understanding that gambling is a form of entertainment.  However, some people can become addicted to such kind of entertainment.

Symptoms of addiction to gambling: Gambling grows from rare to habitual. A gambler wants to play so much that he can relax only spending more and more time on gambling. A player increases of bets, which results in increasing of risks. When a player wins, he wants to go back and win more. If he loses, he wants to go back and recover his losses. Gambling causes anxiety, insomnia, melancholy or suicidal thoughts. A compulsive gambler often plays until he loses all his money. A player borrows money or sells his belongings to invest money in gambling. If a player is addicted to gambling, he can commit or think of committing illegal actions to earn money for gambling. Desire to play increases in stressful situations. Addicted players can celebrate their wins spending additional time on gambling. A player unwillingly spends money he wins on ordinary expenses and tries to spend this money on gambling. 10 golden rules that help to avoid gambling problems:

  • Be realistic about your chances to win.
  • Consider gambling as entertainment only. Never regard wins as a source of income.
  • Set a budget. Set a limit every day or every week and stick to your limit, even if you lose.

Internal procedures and regulations of MyCashGames

MyCashGames approves the Responsible Gambling Policy and finds a solution to this problem in several ways: Our employees are trained to recognize problem gamblers and take appropriate action upon detection of compulsive players or players, which are under the legal age. We reserve the right to block a player's account, if we suspect that this player suffers from addiction or is a person who has not come of the legal age. Using procedures to profile and determine age of players, designed to block the access of underage players to games. At a request of a player the availability of using the site may be suspended. An email address of a player can also be deleted from the email list of MyCashGames. According to the Responsible Gambling Policy, MyCashGames provides players with an availability of setting bet limits. A player can send a request or an electronic notification to MyCashGames: to set bet limits for a specific period; to set losses limits for a specific period; to set time limits; to block access to games for a specific period. MyCashGames does not accept bets from a player contrary to limits or restrictions set by the player. MyCashGames uses its internal policy, as well as the laws of Costa Rica, to prevent loan of any form for players.
